Amber D - 1 Year Update*
  • Hi!  Yes ma'am,  I'm doing well.

I've lost a total of about 88 lbs since my bypass and a grand total of 209 lbs from my highest weight (390 Lbs).  I'm down to 181.

I have been  having semi frequent episodes of post bariatric hypoglycemia, but I'm working to get that resolved.  Otherwise,  I feel great!
It's really an eye opener to look back at how far I've come.  Even if I'd known ahead of time that I would have reactive hypoglycemia, I probably wouldn't have changed my mind about doing the bypass.

I feel so much better physically, I don't hurt near as often and I can breathe so much easier.

I'm thankful for the progress I've made so far.  I haven't weighed in at 180 since before high school.

I can't ever in my life  remember saying...I just want to lose about 20 or  30 more pounds!  It's a great feeling!

    Thank you!
