First I would like to say that this was the best decision i I could ever made. I have struggled with my weight for about 10 years and have taken every diet pill and have been on every diet known to man! It was getting harder and harder for me to do the most simple things. Hated going to the grocery store, felt like people were starring at me. I became really down on myself. I saw myself eating all the time like i had a never ending stomach! The last draw was when i was leaving Subway and a kid yelled out the car and called me fat. I researched the Gastric Sleeve procedure in Mexico for about a year. I did not qualify in the states because i had no health issues only high BMI. Ibecame frustrated and knew that i could not do this by myself.
My starting weight the day of surgery October 2014 was 235 and currently June 2015 I am 175. I feel absolutely amazing!!! I can only eat about 3oz a time and by the time im hungry again i already worked it off by waking at work so thats how the weight stays off !!I could have lost a whole lot more but i had to kind of lay off excercise and my diet because clothes were getting a little expensive because of the weight coming off.... I went from a 18/20 to a size 12 !! I actually get excited to get dressed in the morning now and love going shopping now. People that havent seen me in a while are amazed and think i look my own sister just smaller. I love it!! Just thank you for everything and the sweetest follow up staff. *

This journey was not easy to be taken as it took me 2 years to decide to do the surgery as I tried first to lose weight by doing training and going to the gym but with any set back emotionally I'll gain the weight I lost in a year just in 3 months. So searching I found BeLiteWeight which made my decision easier and with all the help and follow up calls after the surgery I feel you guys like a family to me. The journey became easier to lose weight but defiantly needed more workout, which became easier and easier, to get in shape. Now I'm 155 lb and I'll keep this and maintain it.*

The best thing about the new picture of me: The dress was one my sister bought (size 18) and it was too small for her. For over 40 years, I have been the heavier of the three sisters. I forgot to update you on my experience with the surgery and the post op healing. I am grateful to you for helping me through process of getting into this surgery. You helped me with details and calmed my nerves.When picked up a the airport I was pleasantly surprised that my ride was there and waiting.
The surgery was difficult for me. I was in pain and not sure how to handle myself. With that in mind I have never been treated so well in a hospital before. I could not speak a word of Spanish. But this wasn't an issue because the staff were so kind and tried hard to fulfill every need. They checked on me frequently and even listened throughout the night to my needs for pain medication and were helpful in finding me a sleep aide that would stop me from pacing the hallways all night.The doctors and specialist came at least three times a day to check on me. They seemed to sincere in their concerns and listened intently.I have never ha that experience of the actual doctors talking to me and staying to chat about the healing, I loved it!
I want to thank all of you for your professionalism and amazing care. When I was at my weakest you guys made me feel safe, cared about, and heard.
The medication were affordable and worked great. I am now healed and have lost 34 pounds in 2 months*, I am moving forward. I am so grateful for this new chance in life!

Please see our attached pictures. The original was taken on June 30th, sitting at the airport on our way to Juarez. The other was taken on January 8th (my sisters birthday) Both my sister and I had surgery on June 30th with Dr Rod.
The facility was amazingly clean and the staff was phenomenal!! Our other sister is actually sitting in Juarez having her sleeve done today (2/23/15) at noon.
It has been just under 8 months since surgery. I am no longer taking diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol medication. My A1c has dropped from a 10.5 to a 5.9.* I weigh less than I ever have in my adult life.
Thanks to Dr Rod and the BeLite team, I finally had the courage to go to beauty school. This is something that I never would have had the courage to do without this life saving procedure. I am due to graduate in May, and couldn't be happier. My whole life has changed, I finally feel like I am actually living.
