Low-Carb and Gluten-Free Bread Recipe

This low-carb and gluten-free bread has a nutty flavor and texture like whole grain bread. It's simple to make and does not crumble when you slice it thin.

Just remember use a small loaf pan. If you use a large loaf pan (or if you try to double the batch), you will end up with it being raw in the middle.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • ¼ cup flaxmeal
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

*If you do not have hemp hearts or chia seeds then use 2 cups of almond flour instead

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.
Grease a small loaf pan.

Combine the almond flour, coconut flour, flaxmeal, hemp hearts, chia seeds,  salt & baking soda in a medium bowl until well blended. Add the eggs and applel cider vinegar, mix until all the dry ingredients are moistened.

Put into small loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool in the pan for at least 2 hours prior to slicing. ENJOY!
