Hi JoAnne. I am so very happy with my progress over the last year. Everyone with Belite weight has been so helpful anytime I had questions. I am sitting pretty comfortably at 156 lbs right now. I got down to 152 but I have been working out and lifting weights so I have put on some muscle. My knee is doing so much better now that I've lost weight. Things are going great! I'm no longer a DM. My A1C dropped from a 6.7 to 5.1. I'm down 92 lbs. I only take HCTZ right now for BP but expect that to go away soon. My anxiety meds have been reduced. I went on a cruise and could walk the pier, swim, climb, and nothing hurt. I wish I had done this sooner. It's been a game changer. I even rode a horse in Mexico on my cruise. Yes I just hit my 2 years and am maintaining at 157 lbs lost. Someone actually asked me for a picture the other day so I sent them this side by side. I don't even recognize the girl on the left anymore. I am forever grateful for all of you and Dr Rod. My life was good before but now it's good and healthy. I have no limitations and have been able to get off of my blood pressure meds and passed a 2 year DOT physical for my CDL instead of them only giving me a 1 year like they did before because I am healthy now.

Hi Joanne things are good! Back in yoga and dancing, regained muscle, I can move as well now as I could in my 20s without the extra weight. And this was taken today. Do you stay in touch with the doctors? I have my "night before" photo that I took at this hospital somewhere. Night and day. This was taken the night before surgery in the hospital, but I can try to find a regular photo full body shot of me although backed down at my heaviest I wasn't taking many of those. Here's one taken about a week before surgery. I was the master of hiding my Hypothyroid baby belly. 70 pounds lost.

Doing great I have had no issues whatsoever. I have lost as of today 132 # and have reach my goal weight and have been maintaining it quite well. You sure can post the photos. I am very proud of my accomplishment. But its total mind set change for life, and I still eat most any food I want but mostly the healthy low-calorie ones.
My legs, knee, and back pain have improved at least 90% better. I use to not be hardly able to walk to the bathroom and back without stopping.
Now I work in my yard and keep my 22 month old grandson since birth. I walk daily about 1 mile, sometimes more.
Yesterday I was able to visit Cody Wyoming & I visited Yellowstone Park some 2 years ago; I would have never tried because of the pain I would have been in.
My life has truly change.
I don't have the first regret about my weight loss surgery bypass. It been a truly life changing for me. It gave me my life back again. Only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner.

Hi JoAnne!! It has been 3 years in just a few days and I'm living my best life. I still maintain 100-120lb weight loss. I stay at around 130-150 weight. The only issue I suffer with now is the loose skin on my abdomen and the breast issue. About six years ago, I weighed 440 lbs. I was 59 yrs old and could literally dying. I had no energy and the slightest chore seemed a great undertaking. You could hear me breathing across a room. I'm 6'4" Y'all and gained 150 lbs in two years. I was wearing a size 54 in the waist and size 3 and 4 X shirts.
