Hello!! I'm doing good. I hit my lowest weight probably 9 months after surgery. It was around 125. I've actually been worried about regain and im totally off track. I'm 146 now but I'm actually trying out a juice cleanse this week. And then figured I can go back to basics and portion control after. I will. I just need to cut out sofa, tea, sugar, and watch my carbs and bread intake and I should be ok to hit my goal by September. But gosh looking at my old photos is definitely a motivator.

Hello from  Costa Rica Joanne !!

I'm on a vacation and in the best shape of my life!!! Ever!!  At 57 years old. I never EVER ever believed that I would be this healthy at this age and in a sense reverse my aging and all the damage that I did to my body from being obese for over 30 years .

I'm so pleased and happy with the way I look and feel!! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do the RNY through Be-lite and the doctors in Mexico. My entire experience was flawless ...Well except for my new digestive system ....It definitely took me a few years to get used to my new system but I think I've got a handle on it as this is my four year celebration of being healthy.

I wonder if you have a before picture of me (?) , I certainly don't know where any are and I'd love to share the comparison. At my highest I was 250 pounds. I'm currently maintaining at 118lbs since surgery recovery & got down to 110lbs was my lowest weight.

Although I was obese for many years, I was a fairly healthy obese person, never on any medication's so I was lucky there.

I am now in Pilates teacher training and doing Pilates consistently for the last five years as well as swimming , walking and riding my bike has really helped to reshape my body. I will send you a video of me last week here at the thermal spa in Costa Rica. I thank you so much for your continued support and encouragement as well as any guidance I might need .

Bill's 1 Year Update: Gastric sleeve is best thing I've ever done.  I still haven't gotten below 200.  The lowest is 202. I've been hanging between 202 and 205 for a couple of months. I drive a truck and am on the road 6 days a week.  

I concentrate on protein, and try to limit my carbs.  Since it's starting to warm up, I can use my 30 min break to walk instead of just sitting inside my cab. Once I get off the road, I expect to start losing consistently as well.  I'll be more active on a daily basis. My goal is 160#. The email is still good.

We recommend you to people who ask about surgery. 

Dana's 1 Year Update: I am doing really well. I've gotten down just under 200lbs. I started at 300lbs which is 100lbs off this past year!

 So happy with my decision to have the surgery with you guys! The only side effect I've had is some nausea, which as long as I eat something it goes away. Some hair loss. And I can't handle plain water now for some reason which is weird. I use water flavoring.
