This Vegan Coconut Bacon is a delicious and healthy alternative to pork bacon that will definitely satisfy your craving. Enjoy as a salad topper, add to your favorite sandwich, alongside any kind of eggs, or just by themselves as a great snack.
Ingredients:
½ TBSP Maple Syrup
1 TBSP Tamari or Soy Sauce
¼ tsp Smoked Paprika
½ Cup Coconut Chips
Chipotle Powder (pinch)
Salt (pinch)
Mix all ingredients well, ensuring the coconut chips are evenly coated.
Place on parchment lined baking sheet and spread out into a thin layer.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 15 minutes.
You can double or triple the ingredients to make a bigger batch – keep any leftovers in an air-tight container for up to 3 days.
