Parmesan-Avocado Chips Perfect For A Party


Why wait to start the healthy new year on January 1? Let’s start today on New Year’s Eve! Here is an idea for… chips! 😀 Which all of us love so much!

Our chips are healthy, simple and quick to make so they are also perfect as a last minute snack before the party! The main ingredient is… avocado… once again… but it is one of our favorite vegetables Avocados give you a wide range of possibilities to prepare for all kinds of wonderful culinary delights. Last time you had something sweet with the Christmas muffins so today lets try something salty like Parmesan avocado chips.  Sounds great right?

& Let’s start before the final stroke of midnight 😉

Ingredients: (for about 12 chips)

1 large avocado

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Half cup Parmesan cheese

Half teaspoon garlic powder

Half teaspoon onion powder

Half teaspoon Italian herb

Salt, pepper

You can also try adding oregano or your other favorite spices

Preparation :

Preheat oven to 360 degrees

Blend all ingredients in a blender

Use silicone baking mat (you can use baking paper)

Apply a tablespoon of mix and spread it lightly  and use your hand to shape the chips

Bake all for about 20 minutes until crispy (Check every few minutes to see if your crisps are thin. It may take shorter or longer depending on how thick).

After baking let them cool down for at least 5 to 10 minutes.

Now that these healthy and deliciuos chips are ready for consumption we hope they will be a pleasant addition to the end of 2020.

Today we’re moving to colorful India! If the smell of fresh cumin and the vivid hue of turmeric puts a smile on your face then this is definitely the recipe for you. Indian chicken wings are a tasty and nutritious meal that you can prepare quickly and easily in your kitchen. This recipe not only will taste great but you can also enjoy them without feeling guilty! This recipe is dedicated especially for our patients, but something tells us, that the smell from the oven will tempt the rest of your household too. Be prepared to cook some extra for whomever else is around!

Aromatic Indian Chicken Wings (Low Carb)

Ingredients :

1 tbsp baking powder

2 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black peper

2 tsp turmeric powder

1 or more tbsp paprika powder

1/2 tbsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp ginger powder

1/4 tbsp chili powder (less if you don’t like spicy food)

1 tbsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

1 tbsp coriander powder

3 Ibs chicken wings

Avocado or Your Favorite Vegetable Oil

Preparation :

1 – Preheat the oven to 225 ° F

2 – Make sure your chicken wings are dry (you can use a paper towel for this), this helps the meat absorb the spices better.

3 – Pour the baking powder, salt, and pepper into a gallon zip lock bag.

4 – Put the chicken wings inside, close the bag, and shake it a few times.

5 – Add the rest of the spices, close it again, and shake it more.

6 – Prepare the baking tray, spray the bottom with the oil , put the chicken wings on top, and also spray them with some oil too.

7 – Put the wings in the oven for 30 minutes at 225F and then increase the temperature to 425F and let them cook for another 15 minutes. You can spray them again with more oil if they are looking dry. This will help the chicken wings be really juicy!

Authentic Italian Pizza Sauce


Here is last week’s promised recipe to a delicious Pizza sauce that will take you straight to the streets of Italy!

What you will need :

4 Cloves of garlic

1 Yellow onion

5 Fresh tomatoes or 1 can of tomatoes

1/2 Cup Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper

Oregano ( 1 1/2 tablespoons)

Now you are only a few steps away from your perfect sauce, now all you need to do is to:

Heat the olive oil in a pan with the garlic and finely chopped onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes before adding the tomatoes.

Now is the most important part! Cook the tomatoes for long enough that the water evaporates completely (about 25 min).

When the tomatoes start to have sweet taste and start be a just little bit brown, add the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, and oregano.

Blend the sauce to create a creamy consistency and get your pizza ready. You are in for a treat! 😊

-fresh basil
- 20g mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices of salami or any spiced meat

a few broccoli rosettes or a few slices of zucchini
- a few drops of olive oil
You can always use your other favorite vegetables too*   
Preparation is Easy ! 

1 Brush the tortillas with sauce 

2 Put on the cheese and vegetables given in the recipe (with extra of your favorites!)    

3 Bake for 5-7 minutes in an oven preheated to 425 degrees.  

4 Serve with olive oil and fresh basil.

Festive and Fresh Tilapia Fish Tacos

Festive and Fresh Tilapia Fish Tacos Here is the full ingredient list. The following measurements will make four servings ot two tacos.

  • Four filets of Tilapia, as fresh as possible
  • Eight flour tortillas, low fat and soft
  • Two fresh limes
  • 1/2 cups of sour cream, low fat
  • 1/2 cups of salsa, fresh and low fat
  • 1 cup of shredded lettuce

And here are the instructions. Overall, these Tilapia fish tacos have a total prep and cook time of 45 minutes.

  • Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. Take a baking dish and cover with a light layer of oil or cooking spray, place all Tilapia filets in baking dish and let bake between 28 to 30 minutes. Next, remove from oven and let cool.
  • Using a fork, cut and shred the Tilapia into smaller pieces on a tortilla (or two, depending on preference) and then add a dollop of sour cream, salsa, and sprinkle on the lettuce to desired amount. Finally, squeeze lime across tacos for taste.
