Eating right rule: If it can go bad, it’s good for you. If it can’t go bad, it’s bad for you.

The general rule is if you shop the outer parameter of your grocery store then, more than likely, you will get mostly fresh, non-processed foods. It isn’t all about carbs vs. no-carbs. Certain whole foods; like a good full grain, whole wheat bread is beneficial for a balanced diet. Try to stay away from the overly processed food and go for fresh fruit, fresh meat, fresh veggies and good grains/breads.

It’s a myth that it cost more. Look at the price per pound of fresh veggies vs. the price per pound of something frozen or canned… You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
