  • Print This Page

(THIS IS ONLY REQUIRED IF YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF LUNG ISSUES AND YOUR FACILITATOR TELLS YOU DIRECTLY)

Please read everything very carefully first.

PCR COVID testing is for the Patient ONLY. Guests do NOT need a COVID test, but everyone, including the patient is required to wear a mask when outside your room.

**Please be sure to bring a mask with you.

The hospital requires a negative PCR COVID test. This is NOT the free rapid test given out by the US Government.

***No handwritten results on doctor prescription pads will be accepted. Results must be reported directly from the lab.***

The PCR COVID test must be done within the timing parameters listed below. Be sure you do not take your test too early, as it will be rejected by the hospital (see chart below).

    1. ORDER YOUR TEST KIT TODAY – THERE IS LIMITED SUPPLY (Especially after Holidays).

    2. DO NOT SWAB YOUR NOSE UNTIL THE DAY SPECIFIED BELOW (REFER TO THE CHART BELOW).

DO NOT DROP OFF ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY OR A HOLIDAY RECOGNIZED BY FED EX OR UPS – CONTACT THEM FOR DETAILS. (REFER TO THE CHART BELOW).

    Testing Options

    Local Testing:

You can have your PCR COVID test done locally (Walgreens or CVS), as long as it is sent to a lab and the results are issued directly from the lab. It is best to call your local provider and verify their turn-around time to ensure your results will be back in time.

***No handwritten results on doctor prescription pads will be accepted. Results must be reported directly from the lab.***

    At-Home PCR Testing Kits:

*We recommend this option! It's a super simple at-home PCR COVID test kit.

The test kit comes with full instructions on how to swab correctly. On the day specified (REFER TO THE CHART BELOW) – Register your kit (don’t do in advance), swab your nose and send the test out THAT SAME DAY BEFORE THE FEDEX EXPRESS OR UPS CUT-OFF TIME FOR YOUR AREA (usually before 3pm but double check with your local FedEx or UPS)!

There are two companies we have found that you can order an at-home PCR test kit. Sometimes one or another is out of stock, so we are including both links.
