| With over 20 years of surgical experience, Dr. Westmoreland has served in a variety of leadership roles in the medical community including Chief of Staff at Middle Tennessee Medical Center (MTMC). Dr. Westmoreland helped with the initial planning of MTMC's bariatric program and currently serves as the MTMC Bariatric Center's Medical Director. He performed the first single incision lap band as well as the first truly robotic gastric bypass in Tennessee. Dr. Westmoreland has extensive experience with laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy surgery and has been performing the procedure successfully for three years. |
